Sana'a: The Mobilization Department in the Al-Wahda and Bani Al-Harith districts of the capital city organized two cultural events to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali and International Quds Day for the year 1447 AH. These events were held under the slogan "With the Wilayah of Al-Karrar, we will liberate Al-Aqsa from the evil Zionists."

According to Yemen News Agency, the event in Al-Wahda district was attended by Abdullah Al-Dhurafi, the Mobilization official, along with local, executive, and mobilization leaders. Cultural activist Nabil Al-Mahdi discussed the life of Imam Ali, focusing on his struggles, knowledge, and significant contributions to supporting Islam and Muslims. Al-Mahdi stressed the importance of commemorating Imam Ali's martyrdom to reflect on the nation's deviation from the path of truth. He highlighted the Yemeni people's strong faith and devotion to Imam Ali and their commitment to following his path in supporting truth and defending holy sites, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Mahdi also emphasized the necessity of resistance and jihad against Zionist and American forces to liberate Arab lands, particularly Palestine, and to counter Zionist-American plans in the region.

In Bani Al-Harith district, the event was attended by Mutahhar Al-Washli, director of the General Corporation for Agricultural Services branch in the capital, and other executive leaders. Cultural activist Hassan Khairan spoke about Imam Ali's life, his virtues, and his courage in supporting the oppressed and confronting tyranny. Khairan stressed the importance of adopting Imam Ali's principles, particularly in addressing national issues like the Palestinian cause and opposing the schemes of Islam's adversaries.

Khairan urged widespread participation in commemorating International Quds Day, reaffirming the steadfast support for the Palestinian people and the resistance against American-Zionist oppression.
