Distribution of 1,000 Food Baskets to Needy Families in Kamaran: Humanitarian Effort Launched

Hodeida: The Yemeni Red Crescent Society in Hodeida Governorate, in cooperation with the Youth Development Association, launched a project to distribute 1,000 food baskets in Kamaran Island District, as part of its Ramadan charity programs.

According to Yemen News Agency, the director of the Society's branch in Hodeida, Jaber Al-Razihi, explained that the project is within the framework of the humanitarian and relief activities implemented by the Society to support needy families in the governorate, especially in the most vulnerable areas. He noted that this aid is part of a series of humanitarian and development projects aimed at alleviating the suffering of impoverished and needy families and providing for their basic needs during the holy month. He emphasized the association's commitment to expanding its humanitarian interventions to reach the largest possible number of beneficiaries.

Fadel Al-Dhayani, head of the Youth Development Association, stressed the importance of these humanitarian initiatives in alleviating the suffering of impoverished families. He pointed out that the association works in partnership with humanitarian organizations to promote charitable work and community development. Al-Dhayani praised the support and attention given by the Yemeni Red Crescent Society in Hodeida to implementing such humanitarian projects, which contribute to meeting the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable families in Kamaran District during the holy month of Ramadan.

Abdo Madani, director of Kamaran District, commended the efforts of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society and the Youth Development Association in implementing humanitarian and relief programs targeting needy families. He emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives under the current circumstances.
