According to Yemen News Agency, the Yemeni Armed Forces said the large-scale operation targeted Saudi military reinforcements and weapons depots in Mocha, resulting in the destruction of military equipment, weapons, and casualties among dozens, including Saudis. The forces said the operation was carried out in response to continued Saudi military mobilization and attacks along the western coast and in Taiz Governorate.
