Islamabad: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered rainfall over mountainous highlands and coastal plains, along with hot conditions in desert areas over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the sky is expected to be generally clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of scattered rain that may be accompanied by thunder in the governorates of Hajjah, Mahweet, western Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, and Taiz during the afternoon and evening periods.
The forecast also indicates partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with a chance of scattered rain, occasionally accompanied by thunder, over parts of the Tihama coastal plain, adjacent inland areas, and parts of the Socotra Archipelago. Winds are expected to be light to moderate.
In desert areas, the weather is expected to remain generally clear and hot, with maximum temperatures ranging between 37°C and 42°C. Winds will be moderate, occasionally becoming active and raising dust and sand.
The center warned citizens against floodwaters flowing through valleys and ravines, and advised against being present in or crossing them during or after rainfall. It also cautioned residents in desert and coastal plain areas about the expected hot weather conditions.
