President Al-Mashat Offers Condolences on Death of Sheikh Mohammed Omar Al-Ahdal

Sanaa: Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, has sent a cable of condolences and sympathy on the death of Sheikh Mohammed Omar Abdullah Fashq Al-Ahdal, the Mufti of Ad Duraihimi district in Al Hudaydah governorate, who passed away at the age of 75.

According to Yemen News Agency, the cable was addressed to the son of the deceased, Abdul Wadoud, and his brothers. President Al-Mashat praised the virtues of the late Sheikh, highlighting his contributions to his country and community. Sheikh Al-Ahdal was recognized as one of the pioneering mujahideen and an early adopter of the Quranic movement in the governorate, dedicating his life to the advancement of Islamic sciences.

President Al-Mashat emphasized the significant loss to the nation with the passing of Sheikh Al-Ahdal, who was considered a prominent scholar in the fields of jurisprudence, religious edicts, and community service. He extended his sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the sons of the deceased, family members, the entire Al-Ahdal family, his students, and his loved ones.
