Sanaa: The University of 21 September for Medical and Applied Sciences has taken a significant step forward in fostering academic collaboration by signing two cooperation agreements with the University of Ibb and the University of Al Mahwit. According to Yemen News Agency, the first agreement was signed between Dr. Mujahid Maasar, President of the University of 21 September, and Dr. Nasr Al Hajili, President of the University of Ibb. This agreement focuses on strengthening cooperation in scientific research, the educational process, and the exchange of academic and technical expertise. It also paves the way for organizing joint conferences, seminars, and workshops, contributing to the improvement of higher education quality and societal service.
The agreement outlines the exchange of faculty members, researchers, and students, encouraging joint scientific research and development of study programs. It includes enhancing postgraduate studies, joint supervision of theses, and supervision of internship doctors, with two study seats in each master's and doctoral program at the University of 21 September allocated for demonstrators and lecturers from the University of Ibb.
In a parallel move, the University of 21 September signed a similar agreement with the University of Al Mahwit, represented by Dr. Mohammed Al Shalabi. This agreement seeks to strengthen academic and research collaboration, improve educational quality, and develop university performance. It involves the exchange of expertise, organizing joint academic activities, and encouraging joint research in medical and applied fields.
Furthermore, the agreement with Al Mahwit includes cooperation in developing study programs, exchanging educational materials, and enhancing scientific publishing. It supports scientific qualification opportunities and joint supervision of theses, with two study seats in master's and doctoral programs reserved for demonstrators and lecturers from the University of Al Mahwit.
