Shibam kawkaban: The Women's Authority in the Shibam Kawkaban district of the Al-Mahwit governorate organized a speech event to commemorate the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Ghadir Khumm). The event aimed to renew allegiance to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali (AS).
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches delivered during the event emphasized the occasion as a pivotal spiritual and educational milestone. It was highlighted as a means to strengthen the faith-based identity and Quranic culture within the community. The speakers urged a renewed commitment to the path that preserves the dignity, pride, and independent decision-making of the nation.
The event also brought attention to the ongoing crimes and siege faced by Palestinians, reiterating that the Palestinian cause remains a central issue for the nation. Participants expressed their solidarity with Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran, and voiced support for the resistance axis against Zionist and American projects.
In addition to speeches, a solidarity vigil was held to denounce violations against Islamic sanctities and oppressed peoples. The vigil emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the occasion of Wilayah to uphold principles of justice, truth, and freedom.
