Shibam Kawkaban:The Women's Authority in the Shibam Kawkaban District of Al-Mahwit Governorate organized a speech event on Saturday to commemorate the 1448 AH Annual Martyrdom Anniversary, under the theme "Our Martyrs Are Our Great Men."
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches during the event emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by martyrs, reaffirming a commitment to their ideals, and expressing loyalty and gratitude to those who have died defending their faith and homeland.
The event stressed the necessity of supporting the families of martyrs, tending to their children's needs, and safeguarding their rights as a fundamental religious, national, and moral duty. It also highlighted the Yemeni people's resilience in facing challenges and conspiracies against the country, attributing this resilience to the sacrifices made by martyrs throughout the nation's history.
Participants advocated for ongoing awareness and mobilization programs, encouraging a culture of sacrifice and generosity, and launching community initiatives to support the families of martyrs and those on the frontlines. The event also included cultural and chanting performances that underscored the status of martyrs and the national and religious values their sacrifices represent.
After the event, the leadership of the Women's Authority visited the Martyrs Exhibition, which showcased photographs and displays documenting the martyrs' sacrifices and heroic actions.
