Women’s Preparatory Committee Launches Activities for Prophet’s Birthday

Sanaa: The Women's Preparatory Committee for the Prophet's Birthday has initiated celebrations across all free governorates to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The launch took place on Tuesday, marking the beginning of a series of events aimed at spiritual, educational, and cultural enrichment.

According to Yemen News Agency, committee member Amal al-Hamzi emphasized the significance of the event as a platform for promoting the Prophet's teachings amidst current challenges. She acknowledged the active participation of Yemeni women in supporting the Palestinian cause through various initiatives, including protests, awareness campaigns, and financial contributions.

Al-Hamzi reported that women have organized an impressive number of activities, including 22,286 small protests and activities, 657,894 cultural seminars, 898 central events, and 128 financial convoys to support the Yemeni Armed Forces and Gaza.

Committee member Manal al-Makhadi detailed a comprehensive nationwide program featuring over 5,000 mawlid gatherings, numerous preparatory events, cultural competitions, educational councils, and exhibitions. The program is set to culminate in central rallies aimed at showing solidarity with Palestine and supporting Yemeni military operations.
