Workshop for Provincial Youth and Sports Office Directors Concludes in Sana’a

Sana'a: A two-day workshop for directors of provincial Youth and Sports offices concluded in Sana'a on Monday. Organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the event brought together senior officials and staff from the youth and sports sector.

According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop focused on improving field plans and programs, finalizing preparations for activities marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, and enhancing the efficiency of youth and sports initiatives. Participants discussed mechanisms to develop administrative and field performance, improve investment opportunities to support the financial sustainability of provincial offices, and adopt a comprehensive plan for surveying, documenting, and protecting youth and sports properties across the governorates. They also reviewed ways to strengthen youth participation in national issues and reinforce their cultural and religious identity.

At the closing session, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabih Nasser Ali stressed the importance of translating the workshop's recommendations into practical measures that benefit young people across the country. He also called for greater efforts to enhance field performance and ensure the successful implementation of activities associated with the Prophet's birthday commemoration.

The workshop concluded with a statement expressing participants' support for the directives and decisions of Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. It affirmed the youth and sports sector's readiness to implement official directives, strengthen coordination between the ministry and its provincial offices, protect youth and sports facilities, expand investment programs, and promote initiatives aimed at developing young people's skills and preserving their identity.
