Sana'a: The Kharif tribes in Amran Governorate have declared an armed tribal mobilization following the call of Ansarullah Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The tribes aim to maintain readiness and mobilization to end what they describe as aggression and to lift the ongoing blockade.
According to Yemen News Agency, during a significant tribal gathering held on Monday, the Kharif tribes expressed their commitment to full mobilization and preparedness to confront Saudi forces. They have granted complete authorization to their leader and the armed forces to take necessary actions to secure rights and remove occupiers from Yemen.
The tribes have reaffirmed their support for the armed forces and their readiness to participate on various fronts. They emphasized the importance of unity, strengthening the internal front, and keeping pace with developments. The assembly, attended by Amran Governor Dr. Faisal Jaaman and other local officials, condemned the targeting of Sana'a International Airport and the continued blockade of Yemeni airports and ports.
Participants viewed these actions as an escalation of hostile policies toward Yemen and affirmed their readiness to confront any further escalation. They have pledged to support the armed forces until the aggression ends and the blockade is lifted.
The Kharif tribes attributed the targeting of Sana'a International Airport to continued Saudi arrogance, stating that such actions would not deter the Yemeni people's determination to defend their sovereignty and independence. They disavowed traitors and collaborators, rejecting any cooperation with enemy mercenaries and supporters.
The tribes urged for the preservation of national unity and the strengthening of the internal front, cautioning against attempts to undermine social cohesion or serve hostile agendas. They called on all tribes to enhance solidarity and cooperation in facing current challenges, with the gathering attended by local officials, security, military leaders, tribal sheikhs, and social figures from the Kharif District.
