Inner Haima Hosts Seminar to Revive Imam Hussein Martyrdom

Sanaa: Students of the Quran Generation in the Inner Haima District of Sana'a Governorate organized a symposium commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein ibn Ali, peace be upon them. The event took place at the Al-Sharif Mosque in Hijrat Al-Ar, located in the Al-Hadab district.

According to Yemen News Agency, the symposium highlighted significant milestones in the life of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. It focused on his struggles and the sacrifices made to uphold the truth and oppose the injustices and tyranny perpetuated by the Umayyad regime.

The event also critiqued the normalization of relations with the Zionist entity by some Arab regimes, equating it to the oppressive actions of Yazid ibn Muawiyah. The speakers drew parallels between historical injustices and contemporary issues, emphasizing the ongoing confrontations between truth and falsehood.

The symposium stressed the need to learn from Imam Hussein's life and apply these lessons to correct the deviations within the Islamic community. The participants discussed the importance of returning to the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad to address the current challenges facing the Islamic nation.

The speakers underscored that past deviations have led to the current crises in the Islamic world, including the ongoing aggression in Gaza. They criticized the silence of certain governments that claim to be Islamic and the problematic support some provide to the oppressive entity.

The seminar was attended by Director of Community Initiatives Daris Al-Omari, alongside several teachers and students, who engaged in discussions about the lessons from Imam Hussein's life and their relevance to the present day.
