Dhamar: The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Local and Rural Administration and Development, in collaboration with the local authority in Dhamar Governorate and agricultural cooperatives, has initiated the distribution of a fresh batch of cement and diesel. This move aims to support community-driven projects, with a particular focus on the road sector.
According to Yemen News Agency, the latest batch consists of over 13,000 bags of cement and nearly 96,000 liters of diesel. The objective is to motivate local communities to undertake development projects across various districts. The initiative underscores a commitment to fostering local development, especially in agriculture and road infrastructure.
During the launch event, officials highlighted the significance of this support in advancing local development efforts. They emphasized the crucial role of such resources in enhancing infrastructure and agricultural productivity. It was also mentioned that additional quantities would be dispatched to the districts of Upper and Lower Wasab at a later time, acknowledging their geographical distance.
