Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, has announced Yemen's decision to engage in direct military intervention beginning March 28, 2026, to confront what it describes as illegitimate US-Israeli aggression against Iran, Palestine and Gaza, Iraq, and Lebanon. The announcement was made through letters addressed to key international figures and bodies, including the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council. According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister highlighted Yemen's repeated warnings against ongoing aggression in the region and its readiness to respond militarily.
