Sana'a: A national workshop on mining-sector investment concluded in the capital Sana'a on Thursday, emphasizing stronger public-private partnerships to tap into Yemen's promising mineral resources as a future driver of economic growth.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants recommended building a domestic industrial base for mineral processing, forming a joint task force to follow up on outcomes and remove obstacles, and adopting a modern regulatory framework to ensure safe and competitive investment.
The Investment Authority highlighted the workshop as part of its strategy to activate the 2025 Investment Law and showcased 137 new mining investment opportunities planned for 2026.
