Sana'a: The Yemen national football team crushed Brunei with a 9-0 victory in their match today in Kuwait, as part of the fourth round of the final stage of the Asian Cup qualifiers. Yemen's goals were scored by Nasser Mohammed, who netted five times, Omar Al-Dahi with two goals, and both Abdulaziz Masnoom and Abdulmajid Sabara scoring one goal each.
According to Yemen News Agency, with this sweeping win, Al-Ahmar Al-Kabeer (The Mighty Reds) maintained their second-place position in the group with 8 points, behind Lebanon, who lead with 10 points. Brunei placed third with 3 points, while Bhutan came fourth with just 1 point.
