Yemeni Armed Forces Conduct Operations Targeting Saudi Infrastructure

Riyadh:Yemen Armed forces have executed specialized military operations deep within Saudi territory in response to recent airstrikes. These strikes, conducted by Saudi forces, targeted several Yemeni regions, including the capital Sana'a and the governorates of Taiz, Marib, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, Al-Hodeida, and Saada, totaling 124 airstrikes in the past 24 hours alone. Since the escalation began, the total number of airstrikes has reached 2,058, resulting in numerous casualties, predominantly women and children.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Yemeni armed forces conducted four significant operations over the past 24 hours using ballistic and cruise missiles and drones. The first operation targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh in three phases, leading to the closure of the airport and disruption of air traffic.

The second operation struck the Shugadam gas facility, part of Aramco in the Eastern Province, causing large fires. The third operation targeted the Aramco Tanajib oil refinery, also resulting in ignition. The fourth operation focused on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, disrupting air traffic.

In another development, Yemeni forces targeted Saudi military positions in the Ras al-Ara and al-Saqiya areas with six ballistic missiles and two drones, resulting in numerous casualties among Saudi troops.

Additionally, Yemeni forces engaged with Saudi aerial formations using locally manufactured surface-to-air missiles, forcing a retreat.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have warned international entities against operating flights to Saudi airports, citing safety concerns, except for those to Mecca and Medina. They assert that operations will continue until the aggression ceases and the blockade on Yemen is lifted.
