Yemeni Leader Criticizes Western Support for Israel Amid Palestinian Struggle

Sanaa:In a recent address, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of the Yemeni revolution, stated that the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation marked a significant milestone in the Palestinian struggle, representing a major challenge to the Israeli state. He emphasized the operation's importance in the broader context of Arab and Muslim solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

According to Yemen News Agency, al-Houthi highlighted Yemen's efforts to support Palestine, mentioning extensive military operations and mass rallies over the past two years. He criticized Western countries, particularly the United States and Britain, for their intervention in support of Israel, characterizing it as an unprecedented turmoil within Israeli society.

Al-Houthi condemned the actions of Saudi Arabia, accusing it of betraying the Palestinian cause by aligning with Western and Zionist interests. He suggested that Saudi media has portrayed Palestinian factions negatively and claimed that Saudi Arabia facilitated assistance to Israel during the conflict.

He praised the efforts of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Iraqi factions for their support of the Palestinian people. Al-Houthi underscored the resilience of the Palestinian factions and their ability to withstand Israeli aggression, despite Israel's access to advanced weaponry.

The Yemeni leader criticized Israel's military actions in Gaza, accusing it of committing genocide and targeting civilians. He also condemned the Western support for these actions and urged Arab and Muslim nations to reassess their positions and support the Palestinian cause more effectively.
