Islamabad: The Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, Yahya al-Ra’i, has conveyed his condolences to Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Speaker of the Pakistani National Assembly, in connection with the victims of the mosque attack that occurred in Islamabad during Friday prayers.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Ra’i expressed his condolences and sympathy to the Speaker, members of Parliament, the Pakistani populace, and the families affected by the tragic event. He highlighted the incident as an organized terrorist act allegedly orchestrated by Zionist and American intelligence. Al-Ra’i suggested that the timing of the attack was intended to divert attention from broader conspiratorial schemes in the region, aiming to destabilize Pakistan and deter its opposition to regional threats.
The Speaker condemned all forms of criminal and terrorist activities targeting civilians and places of worship. He reiterated Yemen’s solidarity with Pakistan and extended his best wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in the attack.
