Yemeni Presidential Office Chief Vows Continued Struggle Against Saudi Presence

Tunis:Presidential Office Chief Ahmed Hamed has reaffirmed the commitment to continue the struggle against Saudi presence in Yemen until every inch of the country is liberated. In a congratulatory message to Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, Supreme Political Council President Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, and Council members, Hamed marked the 63rd anniversary of the October 14 Revolution as a significant moment in Yemen's liberation efforts.

According to Yemen News Agency, Hamed highlighted the importance of the anniversary in symbolizing the Yemeni people's rejection of colonialism and their dedication to freedom, independence, and national sovereignty. He recalled that the revolution, which began in the mountains of Radfan under the leadership of martyr Rajeh bin Ghaleb Labouza, ultimately led to national independence on November 30, 1967.

Hamed emphasized that the anniversary serves as a reminder of the capability of free peoples to resist domination and foreign intrusion. He noted that the October Revolution continues to inspire efforts to defend Yemen's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.

The office chief underlined the necessity of maintaining the national struggle to end Saudi presence, expel foreign forces, and restore independent national decision-making. He also called for national unity and solidarity to address current challenges, eliminate foreign intervention, and achieve security, stability, and development in Yemen.

Finally, Hamed paid homage to the sacrifices made by Yemen's revolutionaries and martyrs, asserting that honoring their legacy involves adhering to principles of freedom and independence while safeguarding the country's sovereignty and resources.
