Sana'a: The Yemeni University in Sana'a organized a speech event celebrating the Mawlid al-Nabawi and honoring top students at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science. Speakers emphasized the importance of commemorating the occasion to recall the Prophet's biography and emulate him, and to return to Islamic values in facing challenges, pointing out that celebrating the Mawlid is not merely a passing event, but a station for strengthening faith-based identity and awareness, and for raising the spirit of jihad and steadfastness in confronting the enemies of the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants called for seizing the occasion in universities and educational institutions to entrench Quranic culture and the Muhammadan approach, and urged students to actively participate in the central event at Al-Sabeen Square and the Military College on Tuesday. The event featured a poem, chanting segments, and a theatrical performance, and concluded with the honoring of top students with certificates of appreciation.
