Sanaa: Yemeni women have demonstrated legendary resilience and honorable stances during over eleven years of aggression and siege by the American-Saudi-Emirati-Zionist coalition, managing to remain steadfast against numerous challenges and the humanitarian and social repercussions of the ongoing conflict on the homeland.

According to Yemen News Agency, women's roles in Yemen have extended far beyond their daily work; their active and continuous presence has become an icon of steadfastness, despite the direct targeting they faced from the aggression coalition. They have become an essential element in society through their active participation in construction and development, and their continued support for the fronts of dignity and honor.

Since the onset of the aggression, Yemeni women have endured unprecedented suffering, rising to the challenge and responsibility, sending sons and brothers to defend the land, honor, and sovereignty, and confronting enemy plots. They have tirelessly supported their communities, preparing provisions and providing support relentlessly.

Recent statistics from the Ministry of Health and Environment indicate that 6,686 women have been recorded as martyrs or wounded as a result of the aggression. Since the beginning of the agreed de-escalation with the Saudi-American forces, 428 women have been martyred or wounded. Other figures have been documented by the Human Rights Commission, highlighting the continued impact on women.

The massacres inflicted upon women over the past 11 years are a testament to the brutality of the aggression, which has committed numerous crimes against Yemen. The massacres of weddings in Sanban and Arhab serve as stark examples of the violations committed against international and humanitarian laws.

Women's resilience has been evident through their sacrifices, patience, and engagement in economic and social empowerment projects, enhancing their role in production and improving living standards. Their efforts have maintained adherence to identity and principles, supporting their communities amidst adversity.

On the 11th National Resilience Day, Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi praised women's contributions, acknowledging their efforts and sacrifices during the years of aggression and siege. He emphasized the importance of documenting these contributions as an immortal heritage for future generations.

Yemeni women have become a model of resilience and giving, carrying determination to face challenges, participating in development, and transforming suffering into a power that defies the odds. Through their actions, they have carved a place in history and demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the homeland's sovereignty and independence.
