Sana'a: The Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Control launched a four-day training course in the capital Sana'a. The course focused on the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
According to Yemen News Agency, the program was attended by 30 participants from the authority and private food industries. It aims to strengthen technical skills in line with ISO 17025:2017 standards.
Deputy Director for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Kamal Margham, emphasized the importance of the course in enhancing the reliability of laboratory results. He also highlighted the significance of fostering cooperation with the private sector, considering it a key partner in these efforts.
