Bayda: The local branches of the General Authority for Zakat and Endowments and Guidance in Bayda held a commemorative event marking the annual Martyrs' Day. The event was attended by Shura Council member Abdullah al-Mudhafari. Governor Abdullah Idris emphasized the importance of honoring Martyrs' Day for its deep significance in strengthening resilience against enemies. He noted that the nation's victories were a direct result of the martyrs' sacrifices.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Idris described the occasion as a moment to renew commitment to follow the path of the martyrs in defending the homeland and the causes of the nation. Haydar al-Gharib, Director of the Zakat Office in the governorate, highlighted the symbolic role of commemorating the martyrs in confronting enemy schemes and the responsibility to uphold the duty of jihad in the way of Allah. He reaffirmed dedication to the martyrs' path in defending the homeland, the nation's causes, and its sacred sites.
Al-Gharib also stressed the spiritual rank of the martyrs and their societal importance, urging the reinforcement of a culture of jihad and martyrdom in fulfilling responsibilities against global arrogance. Abdulrahman al-Jarmouzi, Director of the Endowments Office, noted that this year's commemoration coincides with Yemen producing a new generation of heroic leaders on the path to al-Quds within the framework of the 'Promised Victory' and the sacred jihad, including the Prime Minister and his cabinet, as well as Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Ghammari.
Al-Jarmouzi also emphasized the greatness of the Quranic project launched by Martyr Leader Hussein al-Houthi, which aims to enlighten the nation, guide it along the proper path, instill Quranic and jihadist principles, and expose hostile plots and conspiracies against it.
