Zakat Office in Al-Bayda Holds Event Marking Prophet’s Birth Anniversary

Al-bayda: The General Authority for Zakat's office in Al-Bayda Governorate organized a commemorative event to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, emphasized the significance of this occasion in Islamic history, highlighting its role in reinforcing the values brought forth by the Prophet. He stated that the celebration serves as a reflection of genuine belonging to the Prophet's message.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including Shura Council member Abdullah Al-Mudhafari and deputy governors Mohammed Al-Humaikani and Ahmed Al-Shaibah. Governor Idris reiterated Yemen's principled stance on the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that support for the people of Gaza is a religious and moral duty. He noted that commemorating the Prophet's birth embodies the path of standing for truth and confronting falsehood, drawing inspiration from the Prophet's biography to address current challenges, particularly those faced by Palestinians.

Idris highlighted Yemenis' historical role as early supporters of the Prophet and his mission, calling for the commemoration to serve as a reminder of the noble life lessons of steadfastness and resilience. He stressed that reviving the Prophet's birthday reflects Yemenis' adherence to their faith-based identity and their readiness to defend national causes.

Qassem Al-Wajeeh, Director of Awareness and Media at the Zakat office, described the event as a spiritual opportunity to draw from the Prophet's values and principles. He emphasized the importance of the Prophet's guidance in rejecting subjugation to anyone but God, particularly in the face of challenges and offenses against Islamic symbols.

Saleh Al-Zura'i, Director of the Zakat office in Al-Bayda city, underscored the deep connection between Yemenis and the Prophet. He noted that the commemoration honors the values, principles, and ethics of Prophet Muhammad, serving as an enduring source of inspiration for the nation.
