Hays:A meeting in the Hays District of Hodeidah Governorate focused on the preparations and arrangements for the upcoming "Al-Aqsa Flood" football championship.
According to Yemen News Agency, the discussion involved key figures including Emad Al-Bura'i, the director of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, his deputy Adel Dunijer, district director Marwan Hulaisi, district mobilization official Awad Bakri, and representatives from the participating teams. The meeting reviewed the technical regulations for the competition, which will feature 10 sports teams and utilize a group system. Additionally, sports tools and supplies were distributed to all teams.
Al-Bura'i acknowledged the achievements of the youth and athletes in the liberation of the western coast districts. He praised their role in supporting national efforts, rejecting aggression, and resisting colonial ambitions.
Hulaisi commended the district's residents for their commitment to national duty and their opposition to the Saudi enemy. He also highlighted the Youth and Sports Office's efforts to promote sports in Hays and address challenges facing the sports community.
During the visit, Al-Bura'i and Hulaisi inspected several sports facilities in the district, assessing the damage to sports infrastructure caused by aggression.
