Al-Hodeidah Concludes International Youth Forum Seminar by Adopting First Conference Implementation Matrix

Al-hodeidah: The international seminar of the Global Youth Forum concluded on Tuesday in Al-Hodeidah Governorate with the approval of the executive matrix of the First Scientific Conference for Youth of Yemen, the Youth Front of the Nation and the World for Countering Domination, Arrogance, following two days of academic and intellectual discussions with the participation of academics, researchers, and specialists from Yemen and several countries.

According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar, organized by the Youth Development Association in partnership with the University of Al-Hodeidah, aimed to develop a strategic vision to improve the situation of young people, activate their role in construction and development, and translate the outcomes of the first scientific youth conference into practical programs and projects that channel their energies toward productivity, innovation, and community service.

Participants discussed four main themes: awareness and protection, development and work, scientific research and innovation, and artificial intelligence, through 31 research papers, practical studies, and academic interventions addressing youth issues, empowerment needs, and ways to enhance their contribution to various development and scientific fields.

At the closing session, attended by the First Undersecretary of Al-Hodeidah Governorate Ahmed Al-Bashri, President of Al-Hodeidah University Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal, and Head of the Youth Development Association Fadel Al-Dhayani, Commander of the Coastal Defense Forces Major General Mohammed Al-Qadri emphasized the importance of investing in youth capabilities, expanding their participation in development pathways, and strengthening their presence in various fields of contribution, production, and service to the nation and the causes of the Ummah.

The seminar approved a set of recommendations focusing on developing education and scientific research, expanding awareness and qualification programs, promoting entrepreneurship, establishing youth project incubators, and building partnerships between academic, development, and funding institutions to support youth initiatives.

The recommendations also highlighted the importance of utilizing modern technologies and artificial intelligence in supporting development, establishing integrated programs in education, health, water, environment, and investment, in addition to developing institutional and financial frameworks capable of transforming youth initiatives into sustainable projects with economic and social impact.

The seminar witnessed the reading of the final outcomes and the executive matrix, which represents a roadmap for the next phase, strengthening the role of youth in addressing challenges, contributing effectively to community building and sustainable development.

On the sidelines of the closing session, Head of the Youth Development Association Fadel Al-Dhayani stated that the international seminar represented an important scientific milestone in completing and enriching the executive matrix of the First Scientific Youth Conference, with the participation of a select group of academics, researchers, and specialists from inside and outside Yemen.

He noted that the research papers and academic discussions held during the seminar contributed to developing several implementation tracks related to youth empowerment and enhancing their role in development, research, and innovation in line with current changes and challenges.

Al-Dhayani affirmed that the approved matrix represents a practical framework for translating the outcomes of the First Scientific Youth Conference into actionable programs and initiatives, and for strengthening partnerships between academic and development institutions to expand youth participation in nation-building, development, and community service.
