Al-hodeidah: The Qur'anic Culture Unit and the Scholars and Learners Unit in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, in collaboration with the offices of the Endowments, Guidance, and Zakat Authorities, organized a cultural seminar to commemorate the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr. The seminar, themed around a Qur'anic verse, focused on the pivotal encounter referred to as the Day of Criterion, marking the meeting of two armies.
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar was attended by Deputy Governor Ali Al-Kabari, alongside scholars, preachers, guides, and cultural figures. Discussions centered around the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan and its significance, as well as the impact of the Battle of Badr, which elevated the status of Muslims and positioned them as a formidable force against tyranny and oppression.
Key speakers, including the Governorate's Guidance Official Abdulrahman Al-Warfi, Head of the Qur'anic Culture Unit Mohammed Al-Wafi, Sheikh Mohammed Darwish, and other cultural figures, emphasized the historical lessons of the Battle of Badr. They stressed the importance of reinforcing faith, reconnecting with the Qur'an, and maintaining confidence in divine victory.
