Al-mahwit: 96 massive rallies were held on Friday in Al-Mahwit governorate, supporting the armed forces and the "siege-for-siege" strategy while exposing alleged falsehoods regarding the targeting of Mecca. Participants in the rallies, led by deputy governors and local, executive, and security officials, reaffirmed their steadfast stance against Zionist and Saudi actions, pledging support for the armed forces in the battle to break the siege, end aggression, and restore the legitimate rights of the Yemeni people.
According to Yemen News Agency, banners were raised and slogans chanted, condemning the allegations and insults against the Yemeni people and their positions on national causes. The participants emphasized their categorical rejection of any attempts to undermine the status of Islamic holy sites, including Mecca, Medina, and Al-Aqsa Mosque. They affirmed that their participation reflected an unwavering stance on Islamic issues and rejection of Saudi slander, described as the "lie of the century" against Yemen.
They pointed out that these allegations affect not only the Yemeni people but also concern respect for Islamic holy sites, their status and sanctity, and opposition to anything that might insult or undermine their inviolability within the Islamic nation.
The people of Al-Mahwit Governorate affirmed their resolve to continue confronting the ongoing aggression and blockade, which has persisted for eleven years. They reiterated their rejection of the aggression and blockade imposed on the Yemeni people and their commitment to upholding their rights and national principles.
A statement issued after the rallies emphasized that the mass turnout was an act of defending the honor of belonging to Islam and rejecting the "great slander" propagated by the Saudi enemy against the people of Yemen. The statement praised Allah for the victories bestowed upon them, congratulating their leader and army, while invoking mercy for martyrs and success for those on the front lines.
The statement expressed categorical rejection of the "big lie" launched by the Saudi enemy, accusing Yemenis of targeting Makkah Al-Mukarramah. It condemned this as a grave crime and an affront to the Yemeni people's authentic affiliation with Islam, describing it as a deliberate attempt to malign them.
The statement reaffirmed the Yemeni people's steadfast commitment to the causes of their Ummah, particularly defending holy sites against Zionist enemies, who openly declare hostile intentions toward Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
