Sana'a: Deputy Ministers of Local and Rural Development Nasser al-Mehdhar and Justice and Human Rights Judge Ibrahim al-Shami on Saturday inaugurated the new academic year in al-Thawra district in the capital Sana'a. During the inauguration ceremony at Aisha and al-Mithaq schools, al-Shami and al-Mehdhar emphasized the government's commitment to preparing a generation equipped with knowledge and skills to contribute effectively to the nation's advancement.
According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration was attended by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Local Development, Ibrahim al-Kuhlani, and the Sana'a Municipality, Qanaf al-Marrani, as well as the district director, Aqeel al-Saqqaf. Al-Shami and al-Mehdhar highlighted the importance of efforts to provide a suitable learning environment, ensuring the smooth operation of the educational process and improving its outcomes.
Al-Mehdhar and al-Shami emphasized education as the optimal path to progress. They commended the high student turnout and the dedication of teachers to advancing the educational process under current circumstances. They expressed hope for a qualitative leap in education during the new academic year, seeing it as the cornerstone and driving force of development.
They urged students to be attentive, persevering, and disciplined to maximize their academic year benefits. They also stressed the importance of collective efforts in ensuring the success of the educational process.
