Ibb: The Acting Prime Minister, Allamah Mohammed Miftah, visited Ibb Governorate, accompanied by the Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, Deputy Minister for the Roads Sector Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, and Director of the Roads and Bridges Corporation Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadhrami. During this visit, they inspected the square designated for the central Mawlid al-Nabawi celebration event in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, Allamah Miftah, along with the Governor of Ibb Abdulwahid Salah and the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the governorate Amin Al-Warafi, reviewed the progress of preparation works. They confirmed that efforts are proceeding at full pace to prepare the square to receive residents and visitors for the celebration of the Greatest Messenger. The Acting Prime Minister highlighted the significance of the preparations and praised the teams involved for their commitment.
Allamah Miftah remarked on the increasing scale of celebration for the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birth, acknowledging the strong presence the governorate's residents have shown in past years. He expressed confidence in the ongoing efforts to ensure the success of this year's celebrations.
Furthermore, Allamah Miftah, with the accompanying officials, inspected the maintenance work on the "Sana'a - Taiz" road and the entrances to Ibb city. They assessed the progress in repairing damaged sections of this vital road, which is crucial for connecting various governorates to the capital Sana'a.
The officials in charge of the road maintenance explained that the work aims to alleviate traffic congestion and ensure smooth transportation for travelers and goods. The maintenance is expected to enhance connectivity between the governorates and the capital, facilitating economic activities and movement for the region's residents.
