Sana'a: The National Supreme Authority for Combating Corruption held a vigil today to mark the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi and several of his fellow ministers in what it described as a treacherous and criminal Israeli attack.
According to Yemen News Agency, the vigil was attended by Authority Deputy Chairman Ridan Al-Mutawakkel, members Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Kumaim, Engineer Harith Al-Omari, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sheikh, and Dr. Maryam Al-Jawfi, along with Secretary-General Ahmed Atef, Assistant Secretary-General Saddam Al-Rai, department heads, directors-general, and employees of the Authority.
Participants recited Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyred government officials, as well as all martyr leaders and other martyrs who sacrificed their lives in support of Yemen and Palestine. They condemned the targeting of the Prime Minister of the Change and Construction Government and several of his fellow ministers, renewing their pledge to follow in the footsteps of the martyr leaders regardless of the sacrifices involved.
They affirmed that the blood of the martyred officials had mingled with that of the martyrs of Palestine and the Resistance Axis in the 'Promised Victory and Holy Jihad' battle to thwart Israeli and US schemes targeting the nation. The participants also stressed that the enemy's repeated and ongoing attempts to undermine Yemen's internal front had failed and would continue to fail, praising the steadfastness of the Change and Construction Government in implementing its programs and supporting the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
