Sana'a: In a scene reflecting the highest expressions of generosity and loyalty, and coinciding with celebrations marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad, the people of Bani Hashish District in Sana'a Governorate continue to send popular aid convoys of locally harvested produce in support of the armed forces stationed on the fronts of honor and dignity.
According to Yemen News Agency, the community mobilization culminated today with the dispatch of three grape convoys from various localities, in the presence of official and popular figures led by District Director Rajeh Al-Hanami, Secretary of the District's Local Council Ibrahim Al-Jilani, and District Mobilization Official Walid Al-Arkada.
Residents of Rajam Al-A'la locality in Bani Hashish District sent the locality's second grape convoy and the third at the district level, consisting of 300 baskets of grapes. Meanwhile, residents of Ayal Malik locality sent their fourth convoy, consisting of 400 baskets of grapes.
Residents of Ghadran and Dhi Marmar localities also sent their fifth joint convoy today, comprising 600 baskets of grapes. Ghadran contributed 400 baskets, while Dhi Marmar contributed 200, in support of the armed forces stationed on the fronts of honor, coinciding with the anniversary of the Prophet's birth.
During the dispatch of the convoys, which collectively consisted of 1,300 baskets of various types of grapes, District Director Rajeh Al-Hanami, Local Council Secretary Ibrahim Al-Jilani, and District Mobilization Official Walid Al-Arkada affirmed that the people's provision of such aid convoys embodies the close bond between the Yemeni people and the armed forces stationed in the fields of honor and dignity.
They described supplying the fronts with what the land produces as the least that can be offered to those keeping watch over and protecting the country's borders.
For their part, the contributors to the grape convoys affirmed that sending such convoys represents the least duty toward those who spend their nights on guard and remain stationed on the fronts of honor and dignity in defense of the land, national sovereignty, and the people.
They noted that this year's convoys coincide with the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth, affirming their loyalty and close connection to the Prophet and their commitment to following his noble example in supporting the oppressed in Gaza.
They further affirmed their intention to continue sending grape convoys until the end of the harvest season, as well as continuing to provide financial and human support to the fronts until victory is achieved.
