Muscat: Capital Secretariat A number of local and religious leaders inspected on Tuesday the progress of summer courses in Al-Tahrir District in the Capital Secretariat. Members of the Yemeni Scholars Association, including Sheikh Saleh Al-Khawlani, Sheikh Ali Al-Mutahhari, and Sheikh Abdulhamid Ghathayah, along with Deputy Secretary Abdul Latif Al-Omari and Assistant Deputy Abdullah Rawiyah, reviewed samples of students’ performance in Quran recitation, the Yemeni Qaida, Quranic culture, and accompanying activities.
According to Yemen News Agency, the leaders listened to a briefing from the district director, Naji Al-Shayyani, and the mobilization official, Abdul Latif Al-Wali, on the educational process, the level of student turnout for the summer courses, regularity of classes, and the cultural, sports, skill-based, and recreational programs and activities. The visitors expressed their satisfaction and admiration for the organization, the enthusiasm among participating students, and the dedication of the teaching and administrative staff.
The leaders praised the efforts made to organize and ensure the success of such activities and courses, which benefit young people and contribute to building an aware and educated generation grounded in faith-based identity and Quranic culture. For their part, Al-Shayyani and Al-Wali appreciated the interest shown by members of the Scholars Association and the Capital Secretariat leadership in visiting the summer courses, noting that such visits serve as moral encouragement for students and staff, and affirming the importance of joint efforts to ensure the success of these purposeful programs.
