Sana'a: The General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families announced the commencement of cash distribution of Eid clothing to the families of martyrs and missing persons across all governorates, totaling 1.4 billion riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Authority inaugurated the central Eid clothing exhibition in the capital, Sana'a, on Sunday, where clothing was distributed in kind to the families of martyrs and missing persons. Distribution will also begin in kind in Amran Governorate, with exhibitions opening in the coming days in the governorate's capital and all districts.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Authority confirmed that the remaining governorates began distributing Eid clothing starting Monday via money transfers, ensuring that all eligible recipients receive the support before Eid al-Fitr.
The Authority specified the cash distribution amount for Eid clothing according to age groups. Children under five years old receive 20,000 riyals, those aged five to ten receive 25,000 riyals, and those over ten years old up to the age designated for care receive 30,000 riyals.
The statement indicated that this support comes as part of the Authority's ongoing efforts to strengthen the resilience of the families of martyrs and missing persons, support them on various occasions, and demonstrate loyalty and appreciation for the sacrifices of their sons who gave their lives for Allah and country.
The Authority called on all beneficiaries to collect their entitlements via money transfer in the governorates where disbursement has begun, or to visit the exhibitions in the capital, Sana'a, and Amran to receive the clothing in kind.
