Sana'a: Today, in Al-Wahda District of Sana'a, speeches and cultural events were held to celebrate the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the evenings commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) were organized by residents of the neighborhoods of Bir Bashir in the Al-Balili district, Al-Kadhimin in the Industrial Complex district, Mudayrah and Hajar in the Al-Umana district, and Al-Qadaid in the Political District. The events saw wide official and popular participation, reflecting the joy and celebration of the Prophet's birth anniversary.
The speeches emphasized the importance of following and sincerely obeying the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and the need for Muslims to adhere to his teachings to achieve dignity, freedom, justice, victory, and empowerment for the nation against its enemies.
The speeches also highlighted key moments in the life of the Prophet, his struggles against disbelief and polytheism, his resistance to all their conspiracies, and their failure to thwart his divine message. At the same time, they pointed to the deep connection, love, devotion, and support Yemenis have held for their noble Prophet since the dawn of Islam.
The speakers at the evenings, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Ghassan Al-Madani, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, Dr. Abdul Wahab Sharaf Al-Din, the Director of the Directorate, Sami Humaid, and the Mobilization Officer, Abdullah Al-Dharrafi, stressed the importance of commemorating this anniversary and drawing lessons and morals from the fragrant biography of the Prophet.
They pointed to the values and virtues brought by the Prophet Muhammad, the Messenger of Mercy to all mankind, and the necessity of remembering and emulating his example and character, following his path and teachings, and spreading the values of love, brotherhood, compassion, and tolerance among the people of the nation.
They emphasized that celebrating the Prophet's birthday stems from love and loyalty to the noble Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), his esteemed position in the hearts of Yemenis, their adherence to his blessed life, and their deep connection to him.
The evenings, attended by local, executive, and mobilization leaders, tribal elders, sheikhs, social figures, and large crowds of residents, included poems, religious chants, and hymns that expressed the grandeur of the occasion and the virtues of commemorating and celebrating it.
