Hajjah: The Bonyan Development Foundation, in cooperation with the local authority and mobilization in Hajjah Governorate, concluded a training course under the Volunteer Support Program on Wednesday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the 10-day course was implemented by the Bonyan Training Academy and funded by the Project Financing Unit for Agricultural and Fisheries Initiatives in the governorate. It targeted 30 volunteers from Njarah District and was held in cooperation with the Agricultural Cooperative Union branch and the Social Affairs and Labor Office. The course aimed to introduce participants to the basics of volunteer work, development concepts, development resources, and community initiatives.
At the closing ceremony, Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Akhfash urged participants to apply the knowledge they gained in practice to enhance volunteer work, achieve development progress, and strengthen the role of community initiatives. He highlighted the commitment of the local authority to developing volunteers' capacities to promote development efforts and community awareness, praising the integrated efforts made to implement such activities and programs.
