Community Meeting in Maeen District Commemorates Al-Sarkah Anniversary

General

Sana'a: The General Mobilization in Maeen District, within the Capital Secretariat, organized a community meeting to mark the annual anniversary of the Al-Sarkah under the theme 'The Slogan: Weapon and a Stance.'

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansar Allah, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the slogan and economic boycott as tools against adversaries. He traced the origins of the slogan, which was launched 25 years ago by the martyred leader Hussein Bader aldin Al-Houthi at Imam Al-Hadi School in Marran. Dr. Al-Mutawakel explained that the Al-Sarkah emerged after the events of September 11 and subsequent U.S. invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, framing it as a means of confronting enemies.

Dr. Al-Mutawakel further noted that the martyred leader viewed the disavowal of enemies as a religious obligation highlighted in the Holy Qur'an. He stated that every Muslim should voice the Al-Sarkah to reject U.S. and Zionist policies aimed at dominating nations and exploiting their resources, particularly in Arab and Islamic regions. He mentioned the increasing visibility of U.S. and Israeli ambitions, as openly declared by their leaders.

Cultural activist Saleh Atef also addressed the meeting, underscoring the importance of adhering to the Qur'anic project and embodying the slogan in both word and action. He emphasized the need to renew disavowal of enemies and counter U.S. and Zionist domination. Atef highlighted Yemen's stance against what he termed U.S.-Israeli aggression toward Iran and Lebanon, advocating for alignment with the Axis of jihad and resistance against American and Zionist actions.

Atef concluded by asserting that this position is rooted in the principles of the Qur'anic project and the slogan, directing opposition toward what he described as the nation's historical and enduring enemy and their supporters.
