Sana’a: The Yemeni Sports Federation for Companies has approved the organization of a companies’ tournament featuring table tennis, billiards, bowling, and padel, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with support and funding from the Youth and Children Care Fund.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Federation’s Board of Directors meeting, led by Secretary-General Anwar Al-Haimi, discussed various aspects of the tournament’s system, including technical, administrative, financial, media, and organizational factors. The meeting also marked the beginning of accepting participation applications from companies and institutions.
The Federation urged all companies, institutions, and entities interested in participating in the tournament to submit the necessary information and complete the required procedures promptly. This is crucial for the proper preparation and organization of the tournament, which is scheduled to commence at the end of next week.
Additionally, the meeting reviewed forms and templates prepared by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which detail the basic data of clubs and federations, covering organizational, administrative, technical, and financial aspects. The Federation’s technical and financial officials were tasked with completing these forms and submitting them on time. This initiative aims to establish a national database that supports proper planning and informed developmental decision-making based on realistic and systematic foundations.
