Conclusion of Clinical Examinations for Medical Students at Ibb University

Ibb: The clinical examinations (OSCE) for students of the Clinical Nutrition and Infectious Diseases Department at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ibb University concluded today, following a year of training in hospitals and health centers.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the closing session, the University President, Dr. Nasser Al-Hajili, praised the efforts made by the academic staff and students in ensuring the success of the training program and clinical examinations. He noted that the program's achievement of first place among Yemeni universities in competitive scientific competitions reflects the level of development in the educational process, both theoretically and practically, and the commitment to academic and professional standards.

Dr. Al-Hajili affirmed that the university pays special attention to medical education, aiming to prepare qualified cadres possessing the scientific knowledge and practical skills necessary for work in the health sector. He pointed out that the university is continuing to develop its academic and training programs, and to update teaching and evaluation methods, enhancing the quality of its outputs and linking the academic aspect with clinical practice.

For his part, the University Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Fuad Hassan, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Mansour, and Drs. Sadiq Al-Sharaji and Habib Mahboub, explained the procedures followed in implementing the clinical examinations. These included modern methods of measuring and evaluating students' abilities and skills in dealing with clinical cases.
