Cultural Evening Commemorates Martyrs’ Anniversary in Kholan District

Sana’a: A cultural evening was held on Monday in Kholan District, Sana’a Governorate, in commemoration of the annual Martyrs’ Anniversary. The event took place in Bani Hatim Village, Al-Arqoub area – Al-Aroush subdistrict.



According to Yemen News Agency, Ra’ad Al-Jamali, the district director, highlighted the esteemed status of the martyrs and the heroic feats they accomplished in the path of God, defending the homeland, its sovereignty, and dignity. He affirmed that their sacrifices will remain a guiding light for free people and future generations, emphasizing the importance of continuing cultural activities and events to raise awareness among the youth about the martyrs’ history, lives, and noble principles, instilling a culture of loyalty and giving in society.



Ali Humaid, Deputy Head of Mobilization in the district, noted that commemorating the martyrs’ anniversary reflects the deep connection of both the people and officials with the families of martyrs. He stressed that such events serve as an educational platform to reinforce values of sacrifice and devotion and to draw lessons from the lives of those who gave their lives for God and the homeland.



Ali Al-Wadidi, the district’s Guidance Officer, highlighted the importance of continuously observing the martyrs’ anniversary, as it reminds society of their sacrifices and heroic deeds on various fronts to defend land and honor, urging ongoing care and attention to the needs of martyrs’ families and children.
