Deputy minister of information dr. omar al-bakhiti expressed his appreciation to all official:akhiti expressed his appreciation to all official, national and foreign media outlets for their extensive efforts in covering events commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bakhiti praised the efforts of Ministry of Information staff and media committees, which worked for weeks to deliver comprehensive and professional coverage of the occasion. He also highlighted the significant qualitative and quantitative development in media coverage, which helped convey the event to audiences worldwide with unprecedented success.
He commended the major supporting role of the national media in coordinating and mobilizing efforts to cover the Yemeni celebration, described as unparalleled worldwide, including its central, local events and activities marking the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.
Al-Bakhiti also praised the outstanding role of foreign media office directors and correspondents for Arab and international television channels in delivering coverage marked by such momentum and creativity.
He stressed the importance of continued coverage by official and national media during and after the celebrations, as well as promoting the Prophet's teachings and principles through media policies and programs, and advancing the national media message to reflect the values and principles of Islam in a manner befitting the significance of Islam's message and the status of the Yemeni people.
