Dhamar:Tribes and sheikhs from various districts across Dhamar province held popular rallies on Friday, emphasizing their preparedness to support the armed forces in confronting Saudi aggression, threats, and mobilizations. The rallies aimed to affirm a commitment to respond to escalation with escalation.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants at the rallies underscored the importance of strengthening the culture of jihad and martyrdom in the face of tyranny and criminal acts. They reiterated Yemen's steadfast support for the nation's central causes, primarily the Palestinian cause.
Participants accused Saudi Arabia of punishing the Yemeni people for their support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, alleging that the Saudi regime has escalated its aggression against Yemen, resulting in the deaths of women and children and targeting homes and markets. The rallies highlighted the ongoing siege aimed at starving and subjugating the population.
The gatherings affirmed a continued public mobilization effort, including the provision of personnel, funds, and weapons to the fronts, and expressed full support for the armed forces until what they described as the people's rightful and legitimate demands are met.
Further, the rallies endorsed the armed forces' warning regarding Saudi threats towards Yemeni tribes, cautioning that such threats would not go unanswered. Any Saudi involvement in carrying out these threats, they warned, would lead to serious and unexpected consequences, with the armed forces potentially resorting to previously avoided major options, holding the Saudi regime accountable for the outcomes.
The rallies called on Yemeni tribes, their men, and tribal sheikhs to intensify their armed mobilization in support of the armed forces and the leader of the revolution, urging the continuation of what they described as the people's historic battle.
Additionally, they encouraged Yemenis to participate in the annual Martyrs' Anniversary through widespread involvement, including visiting and honoring the families of the martyrs.
