Distribution of School Supplies for Poorest Students and Orphans in Hajjah

Hajjah: The Social Affairs and Labor Office in Hajjah province distributed school supplies on Wednesday to support the poorest students, children of martyrs, the vulnerable, and orphans in the province center.

According to Yemen News Agency, the first phase of the distribution is an initiative by philanthropists and the Productive Families Association at the Social Affairs and Labor Office. It benefits 160 male and female students with school bags and provides 250 children with essential school supplies as part of case management efforts.

Governor Mohammed Al-Qadi and Shayef Abu Salem Abu, Director of the Tribal Affairs Authority branch, praised the Social Affairs and Labor Office's efforts in implementing these activities. They emphasized the importance of such initiatives in alleviating the suffering of this deserving segment, particularly in light of the country's current circumstances.

The director of the Social Affairs Office in the province highlighted the significance of these activities in encouraging education and reducing school dropout rates. He stressed the role of these initiatives in promoting social solidarity to support the poorest students, orphans, and school dropouts, urging philanthropists to continue backing these efforts.

During the distribution event, which was attended by Dr. Ahmed Nasaru, head of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society branch, and Abdulrahman Al-Mukhtar, deputy director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office, the case management supervisor in the governorate center explained the importance of these activities within the framework of the back-to-school campaign.
