Discussion on Draft Organizational Regulation and Leader’s Directive Matrix in Sana’a

Sana'a: A meeting held in Sana'a on Saturday, chaired by Acting Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment Sam Al-Bashiri, discussed the initial observations on the draft organizational regulation and the responsibilities of the ministry's sectors, based on the draft prepared by the Supreme Committee for Integration.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed the mechanism of the committee tasked with studying the draft proposals for the ministry's structural development submitted by the Supreme Committee for Integration. It also examined observations presented by a number of relevant sectors and departments. The discussion included the implementation matrix of the Leader's directives on economic stimulation, localization of industries, support for domestic production, and reduction of the import bill, along with its priorities within economic and development programs and plans.

During the meeting, the Acting Minister emphasized the importance of providing well-considered observations on the ministry's restructuring draft in a way that serves the ministry's objectives and responsibilities. This would advance economic development, enhance the implementation of economic programs and plans, improve the business environment, and develop the performance of the national economy.

He also highlighted the importance of integrating the economic programs and plans contained in the implementation matrix of the Leader's directives with the plans of relevant entities, within a coordinated framework to propel the national economy forward. He stressed the need for 1448 AH to be a year of economic advancement and institutional development.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers for Foreign Trade and Export Development Fouad Huwaidi, Industry and Economic Cities Engineer Sami Maqbouli, Business Services Judge Abdul Fattah Al-Dhuwaid, and directors of the relevant general departments.
