Sanaa: Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment Sam Al-Bashiri laid a wreath on Sunday at the tombs of martyrs President Saleh Ali Al-Sammad and his companions, Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahawi and his fellow ministers, and Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Ghammari, on the first anniversary of their assassination by the treacherous Zionist-American enemy.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bashiri, along with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Pharmaceutical Company (YEDCO), Dr. Mohammed Al-Tehami, and the Executive Director of the Yemeni Standards, Metrology, and Quality Control Organization, Abdullah Al-Atifi, recited the Fatiha (the opening chapter of the Quran) for the souls of the martyred leaders and all the martyrs of the nation who fell in the battle of "The Promised Victory and the Holy Jihad" against the American-Saudi-Zionist enemy.
Al-Bashiri noted that the visit affirms the high esteem in which the martyred leaders are held and draws inspiration from the values and principles for which they sacrificed their lives. He emphasized the commitment to following the path and approach of the martyrs in defense of religion, the nation's dignity and honor, and in support of the oppressed.
He was accompanied by the Deputy Directors of the Yemeni Standards Authority, Mohammed Al-Dailami, Ahmed Al-Humaidi, Kamal Margham, and Al-Hassan Al-Nahari, as well as a number of directors general and department heads from the ministry and its affiliated bodies.
