Ibb: The Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi inspected the progress of the educational process at several schools and educational facilities in Ibb Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the tour, Minister Al-Saadi, accompanied by the governorate's mobilization officials Abdul-Fattah Ghallab and education sector official Mohammed Al-Ghazali, examined the level of discipline in the educational process and programs at Al-Zahra and Al-Yarmouk schools in Ibb Rural District. They also discussed efforts to enhance the learning environment and train educational personnel. The minister and his team listened to school administrations about their key activities and needs, urging students to work diligently and strive for academic success.
The delegation also visited the 'Great Prophet' exhibition at Al-Zahra School, held to commemorate the Prophet's birthday. The exhibition featured models, drawings, and publications highlighting the noble character of the Prophet Muhammad. Minister Al-Saadi praised the organization of the exhibition and emphasized that such cultural and educational activities contribute to raising awareness about moral and educational values.
Further, Minister Al-Saadi reviewed the educational process at the Higher Institute for Male and Female Teachers, meeting with the Institute Dean Faisal Al-Dumaini, faculty members, and students. He addressed their concerns about curricula and equipment and highlighted the institute's role in preparing educational personnel. He affirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting the institute's programs and enhancing its capabilities.
The minister also inspected damage sustained by one of the institute's halls due to attacks on educational facilities, praising the efforts to rehabilitate and restore it. He emphasized that such challenges would not hinder the advancement of education and highlighted the importance of improving the learning environment and training educational personnel.
In a related context, Minister Al-Saadi visited the governorate's Adult Literacy and Education Authority to review its programs. He stressed the importance of expanding literacy and adult education programs. At the Educational Aids Center, he examined samples of educational aids and commended the center's role in enhancing the practical aspect of education.
Al-Ghazali, the education sector official, emphasized the significance of the minister's visit to assess the needs of the educational process in the governorate. He praised the ministry's focus on fieldwork and described the visit as a boost for educational personnel to improve performance and academic achievement.
