Sana'a: The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research held an expanded meeting on Thursday to discuss the program of activities marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday (Mawlid). The meeting, attended by education officials from the capital Sana'a and various governorates, focused on preparations for organizing commemorative events at both the central and local levels.
According to Yemen News Agency, Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi emphasized the importance of thorough planning and coordination for the activities. He described the occasion as an opportunity to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. The meeting underscored the need for meticulous organization to ensure the success of the events.
Ministry Undersecretary for Basic Education Hadi Ammar highlighted the crucial role of educators in raising awareness and participating in the commemorative events. He stressed that educators are instrumental in promoting religious values and contributing to preparations for the central celebration. This celebration is scheduled to be held at Al-Sabeen Square on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, marking a significant event in the religious calendar.
