Sana'a: The Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Water organized a protest in the capital Sana'a to condemn what they described as an American insult to the Holy Qur'an.
According to Yemen News Agency, ministry officials and employees gathered to voice their disapproval of the actions of a U.S. candidate, labeling it as part of a systematic campaign targeting Islam and Muslim identity.
During the protest, a statement was issued which affirmed the participants' strong adherence to the Qur'an and rejected any attempts to justify such actions under the guise of freedom of expression. The statement also held the United States, Britain, and the Zionist entity responsible for repeated offenses against Islam and called for increased economic boycotts and mass demonstrations in response to these perceived violations.
Additionally, the protesters expressed renewed support for the Palestinian people, emphasizing their commitment to opposing actions that insult their religious beliefs and identity.
