European Stocks Decline Amid Healthcare Losses

Sana'a: European stocks fell on Tuesday, extending losses from the previous session, while Bayer shares rose after the US administration backed the German pharmaceutical company's appeal in court. The pan-European STOXX 600 index slipped 0.1 percent to 574.48 points, continuing the decline led by industrial sectors on Monday. Meanwhile, major European indices such as Germany's DAX and France's CAC 40 each rose by about 0.1 percent.

According to Yemen News Agency, Healthcare stocks led the declines on the index, falling 0.3 percent, weighed down by losses in AstraZeneca and Novo Nordisk shares. Luxury goods and automotive stocks also declined. FDJ United shares fell 4.2 percent after JPMorgan downgraded its recommendation on the online betting and gaming company.
